While shooting “LIVE from the Desert” another storm blew in to our full band / outdoor set, and we were forced to find an indoor area to keep tracking. Fortunately there’s a beautiful, old church in the ghost town portion of Terlingua, TX. We set up two condenser mics & started filming/recording with one, continuous, live take. If there was ever a songwriter worth covering, it’s Townes Van Zandt... and this is my favorite song he ever wrote. I hope y’all enjoy it!
