It’s pretty surreal exploring the ancient cities located on the cliff-side alcoves of the canyon walls in Mesa Verde. Ancestral Pueblo people built elaborate structures like the cliff palace, which you can see on the second photo, housing around 100 people. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s fun to imagine what it would’ve been like living there back in 1200 AD. I wonder how many people fell off the cliff when going to the bathroom at night 🤔 It was a good breather to get out and do something non-bike related. Ready to put my head down and get back into training 🙌🏻
