I do a crap job of sitting still. So - against my ego’s best judgement, I’ve been giving meditation a go. It’s a daunting task - sitting still, finding focus, and then being aware of - and letting go of - my thoughts. But I’m trying - and attempting to do it on the daily. . So when I had a weekend to myself, I made the grand attempt to slow things down and not try to do too much. Just feel my way into each decision, and see where each one took me. . Turns out that got me to the Peninsula for a last minute campout and a long run in the mountains. Like I said - it’s a daunting task, this slowing down thing - and I’ve clearly still got some work to do... 🤦🏻‍♂️ But the run? #notasuck (even got to almost run into a bear!) 😬🐻
