The three essential elements that influenced the pattern and design approach for this master's project were: space, print, and helix continuity. All of these were established through research, and I sought to create an experience by focusing on applying the helix aesthetic to my design process, limiting the helix cutting technique to the basic state of the garment as much as possible, while following the pattern through print for the purpose of emphasizing the helix structure. @sekai.3
