Photo by @amritachandradas My partner and I took winding turns in our car to get to this spectacular view of Myrtos Beach in Kefalonia, Greece. The water by the fringes of the coast was an azure blue accompanied by shades of turquoise. Visiting during the least touristy times is the best. You get some of these beaches mostly to yourself, although the waters of the Ionian Sea are still freezing cold in late April.
