My friend @teejmercer is a 25+ year Hollywood TV veteran and a philanthropist. Her latest philanthropic quest is The Move-In Day Mafia (MIDM)--an army of volunteers who deploy to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) campuses to provide dorm room makeovers and ongoing support for the freshmen who have aged out of foster care. As a graduate of Howard University, TeeJ is committed to taking care of this vulnerable population who already beat the odds to attend college but have no one supporting them on their journey.
