One of the most exciting parts of travelling is the planning, actually. I don't think being fated to be “wanderlust”, and I do love to be stuck somewhere steady by myself. Yes, being solitary inside a library is the most relaxed time for me. When I was a high school girl, I eagerly prayed to live like a nun far from the popularity and all the noise, even during a certain white Christmas party with favourite friends. Still, strangely I have been floating after giving birth to the second baby for more than ten years. Everybody marries and has babies to settle down, but why does it mean departure and adventure for me, not being “mature”? I assume I am not well-fitting for marriage and parenting, so I always try to run away from them whenever I find a little slot to breathe. Thus, I am strolling the earth like “a kind of bird that don’t have legs” (originally comes from “Orpheus Descending” written by Tennessee Williams, featured in the films “The Fugitive Kind (Sidney Lumet, 1960)”, “Bande A Part (Band of Outsiders; Jean-Luc Godard, 1964)”, and “Days of Being Wild (阿飛正傳; Wong Kar-Wai, 1990)”. Anyway, nowadays, I am super enthusiastic about booking flights, accommodations and must-visit venues.
