This client came to me wanting to feel blonde with pop and contrast - well hello I love that. Case study - natural level 8 with % of white around 25% except around the hairline where it’s 100%. Her goal is to do the color every 9-10 weeks which I think is realistic. What was in front of me. Super fine lights that disappear into everything - lowlights that’s are 1/2 shade to dark and they’ve also been applied from root to ends - a Demi color in between the foils as well. The plan - Quit the Demi embrace the greys and add softer depth and brighter brightness. What I used - #blondstudio multi tech and 20 vol #majirel 8 plus an inch 8.34 plus 12.5 vol #dia clear and 6 vol for 10 mins for shine we live a shiny blonde Around the face bleach only in my signature face frame pattern to lift thru that Demi and soften the white. Everywhere else it was a mixture of depth and lightness where needed with weaves think & fine no lowlight was taken all the way through as that looks stripy and no lowlight applied on the natural hair as this lifts differently.
