Words cannot describe how grateful I am for these last three months and the incredible support from all of you. While we did not win this election, our message of kindness resonated well throughout West Hollywood and beyond. This campaign was a success for that reason alone! We heard from many residents about a desire to bridge political divides and focus on the issues that matter locally: a stronger business community, smart and sufficient community policing, an emphasis on volunteerism, cleaning our streets, finding innovative solutions for climate change, and creating more opportunities to bring the community together. WeHoans voted in three smart, experienced and balanced leaders in @meister4weho @johnjudeduran and @jheilman90069 (pending final tallies, of course). I look forward to serving them and our community, bringing the values of our campaign into City Hall in other ways. I am humbled and am inspired by the number of people who believed in me, but more importantly believed in kindness and empathy as critical values in public service. I have tremendous hope for the future of this city and the future of our democracy. Thank you again for your support.
