About last night!!!! A huge thank you to @halpernlondon @sandeep_sumal @biancasodala @ctbentham for throwing me a dinner party in honour of Black History Month. It made me so honoured and proud to host the dinner @storkmayfair the most delicious Pan- African food with some many black creatives in the beauty industry. It was so emotional as many of us were excluded, passed over and know we didn’t hit top level positions in the industry because of our melanin. We all had to fight invisible barriers and nonsense to even be in rooms of power and always be the only “black one” in the room. So to see everyone last night who have fought their own battles to be their authentic selves and win made me very proud. Thank you for everyone who can and every day is black history month.
