Yesterday I took Bay and her bestie and their girlfriends aqua-parking and I saw how the roots of girl friendships begin. They are just starting to navigate the fierce love, competition, devotion and joy that comes from friendship, along with its frustrations, challenges and drama. It defines so much of us as women and it’s part of what makes our lives so special. A complete privilege to watch it grow in my daughter and in my own life too.
