Have you ever experienced the joy of an autumn picnic? Leaves are falling, a cool breeze blows, people are wearing their coziest sweaters. It's the perfect time to lay out a blanket at your favorite park and get snacking. We did spend a good time shooting here and then devoured the delicious cakes and macaroons kindly sent me to by @heriotspatisserie In the frame 🍰Belgian Chocolate This beautiful cake slice contained 3 chocolate sponge layers, filled with chocolate fresh cream and decorated with a Belgian chocolate ganache. Absolutely yummy! It was so rich and the sponge was fluffy and moist! 🍰Coffee & Caramel Slice Coffee flavor was neither strong nor subtle. Although I prefer it to be intense it was nonetheless a satisfying treat! 🍰Black Forest Slice This is the cake you need to get if you are looking for something rich, dark and indulgent! They have different varieties of cake flavours to choose from and each costs just £3.95 each which is very reasonably priced. Do check out their newest cupcake range for spooky season which you can see in the video. I picked up 2 packs of macarons, one from each flavour! Look how cute are they? They were perfect: slightly crispy on the top with melt-in-your-mouth fillings and a chewy finish. Pistachio and coconut flavored ones were especially our favorites. I am truly a lover of the cooler months in the UK and whilst I love a summer picnic in a park - how about an autumnal one (in between when the skies aren’t pouring!).
