This post is in honor of Mrs. Washington pageant in Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue WA. It's an honor to be the first Indian- American woman to win the state title and represent Washington at Mrs. America. I led the way titleholders connected with the community and left a legacy of community service. I am honored to be the highest fundraiser for Victoria's Voice (National charity for Mrs. America). Pageantry has pushed me out of my comfort zone. It is more than just beautiful faces walking up and down the stage. Pageantry is about building yourself, building your community, and building friendships for life. For the last 30 years, Mrs. Washington America has been a beacon of hope and inspiration for women under the great leadership of @pamelacassianocurnel I am proud to have been a part of it and will be forever grateful. I am confident that like past, this year the caliber of women that will be chosen and crowned will continue to be outstanding, and will make a difference in the community and serve as role models to them. I am assertive that the legacy that is Mrs. Washington America will live on and continue to change lives, and that the legacy of the Mrs. Washington system will continue to thrive and grow! #ForeverQueen #sisterhood #whowillitbe
