Alas Harum Bali has received two awards from MURI (Indonesia World Record Museum) for the largest Sukarno statue in the world and the largest Topeng Monyer statue ever made in tourist destinations around the world. The massive statue of Sukarno (Indonesia’s founding president) was aesthetically built from woven bamboo by talented local artisan around a vast stretch of green rice terrace of Alas Harum complex and possesses a gigantic size of 19m tall standing in the bamboo block of 300 sqm. The majestic masterpiece was initiated by the founder of Alas Harum, I Made Ardana @madeardanaofficial and his cofounder, I Made Suardana @madenanofficial representing their good will to commemorate the figure and preserve nationalism in the mind of today generation towards the founder of this country. Not to mention, as new iconic tourist destination in Ubud, Bali.
