We love this shoot from @theeverymanproject that captures radiant joy, peace with oneself, and loving community. The mainstream body positivity movement has become centered around relatively thin, white, cisgender women. To us, body positivity and body liberation is especially for people of color, queer folks, fat folks, disabled folks. It’s about centering queer, BIPOC joy, and building affirming community that lets people exist freely and as they are.
