She’s here👼🏽 Selah Ren Hayden. born january third at 6:03am just before the dawn of sunrise. 7lb 7oz. she came into the world bright eyed looking right up at us. she is the most precious gift. we are in awe. Selah: a musical term used in the psalms meaning to pause, rest, and exalt. Ren: to love and bloom. The exact season we have been walking in all year. Pausing, resting, reflecting, exalting the Lord and growing together in love. When her name came to us, we pondered on it all nine months that I carried her. Confirmation after confirmation, it seemed to truly mark a season that we were coming out of and the start of a beautiful new untraveled one. With only 10 hours of labor and moving so quickly, I was able to get in a little rest just before giving birth to selah. the lights were dim, just Noah and our midwife in the room, in between pushes I would put my head back and rest and listen to the song never walk alone and the line “God is my deliverer” kept playing over and over in my head. it was the strength that I needed. the Lord was there in every single moment beginning to end orchestrating and placing a hedge of protection around us. we are completely in love🤍 thank you Jesus
