My last summer in NYC was quite eventful to say the least — on my route down Broome into Soho every morning I’d typically pass by @18eastofficial to kick game with @jacob.consenstein — Unknowingly, I also kept noticing @wikset in front of his old apartment on Mott, we’d nod and I’d keep pushing. One day at 18 EAST Jacob told me that Pat was coming to play some of his new tracks produced by @sageelsesser. Pat and I officially met — the black and white photo is the first photograph I ever made of him — he also hadn’t named his album yet and was asking for titles, when he played me NEW TRUTHS I heard the line “half God like Hercules” it just resonated and I told Pat that phrase was timeless and deeply metaphorical. The rest is history. Honored to have taken part in seeing this amazing book come to life massive love and respect to @jacob.consenstein and @outerspacepress for all their hard work.
