Finally started watching “Emily in Paris” and completed Season 1. Yes, two years behind. Very superficial and shallow, funny and sexy (actually a bit “horny” everybody), clever and arrogant (both the Americans and the Frenches, but I know the Britons are the best in this area, absolutely!!!), and complicated and messy. I don’t believe it’s true Paris, but had lots of fun! Because the superficial observation of Paris for Emily seems similar to my simple comprehension of Venice. I feel all Italians are crazy for love and art. I think they can enjoy their life. That’s why I want to be there again and again. I can’t dare do something in my reality, but I eagerly wish something fabulous to happen in my life. I told my friend, “They call everybody AMORE and kiss and hug everybody. They drink, smoke and eat all day long and have never been serious. Everybody looks so happy. Kind of a paradise!” Yes, I know how surface! I mimicked Emily’s gingham check outfits and red beret in the winter of 2020. But the absolute joy was seeing this Hepburn look for Emily’s “Swan Lake” (described by the posh and snobbish professor, Emily’s first date in Paris, as a public thing for the tourists, but he was totally wrong. The Swan Lake is a masterpiece!). Hepburn was trained as a ballerina in her youth, and her graceful attitude came from the lessons. I really adore her “Funny Face” look and Emily’s interpretation. BTW, who’s my bias among all the dates of Emily? (That was the same question as Carry’s from “Sex and the City”. And my choice was Mr Big!) Every handsome man is already occupied in that drama, though (shame!), do not want to make it more complicated and do not want to hurt any friends as well, but I can say this only one, no, two things; 1. Handsome men are rare. They are unicorns in fairytales! In reality, they hardly turn up as your neighbours or colleagues. Almost NEVER! 2. And if you are lucky enough to have one or two in your life, but they never appear at once! So, no worries, at, all!!! 😉😉😉 Anyway, mine is the chef downstairs so far! #emilyinparis #netflix #lilycollins #audreyhepburn #swanlake #funnyface
