#AD I’m so excited to share my latest partnership with @sheamoistureuk. This Black History Month we’re celebrating the extensive language around Coils and Curls! Now, as many of us in the community will know, there are a huge number of terms and phases we use to describe our hair and its practises but a lot of the time, these words are totally absent in culture. SheaMoisture’s recent research has even found that 37% of Brits admitted they weren’t aware of the term ‘bonnet’ before it was worn by Love Island contestants. SheaMoisture has launched an online glossary of Coils and Curls terms to empower more open communication of these words outside of the Coils and Curls community, and will be submitting these terms to be included in the Oxford English Dictionary.
