Where do we even begin? Last night felt like a daydream. We are the award winning podcast. We’re still in utter shock that we could build such a huge force of change in this industry just from being our loud-mouthed selves. This isn’t just a win for the two of us, it’s for all of us. And it’s a win for our fellow nominees!! it’s so amazing that we’ve created a space that isn’t pitting us against each other but elevating and celebrating one another. 10 years ago @iamsophiek was told by someone very high up that you “can’t put a black person on the cover of a magazine because only black people would buy it.” You guys proved them wrong.
