Baby Honu is back! 🐢 Some of my close friends may remember my rad red-eared slider from my condo in North Kihei. Full name Lady Anuhea Honu'ea after my love of sea turtles and my writer sister, Anu Yagi. 💖 I had Baby Honu for six years and she was such a calm part of my wild world. Our friends Jerry and Jess adopted her because Chino and I went to LA. They had an awesome pond and she's been living it up on the South Side the last six years. We're so thankful that our buddy Steve and them looked out for her! They had to move and we just got her back recently. I forgot how big she is! Chino made her a turtle pond and lair in our backyard on the North Shore and she absolutely loves it. Our kitty is so intrigued as well! Talking story and meditations with Baby Honu to commence my days this week has been so wonderful. 🧘‍♀️ PEACE. LOVE. HONU! 💚
