i know i always mention how i use to be scared to show off my body but that’s not the only side of the story. God showed me that i always possessed a certain type of confidence, i was just around people who didn’t sharpen that gift for me—people who made me second guess myself. this resulted in me wearing clothes that were too big + not flattering, questioning my own beauty. i was told a number of things: - “your legs are too big to wear shorts” - “your big hair makes you look heavier” - “if you loss 30 pounds, you’d look good in all of your clothes...” and that’s just to name a few. it wasn’t until God strategically placed people in my life who saw me for me, who reminded me of my beauty & who tf I was!
