Not sure where these quads have come from but we’re rolling with it 🫡 Since changing my goals from training for aesthetics to training for performance I have felt the most powerful, energised and happy in myself for a long time. After getting my physique so lean it was so difficult to adjust back to ‘normality’, constantly feeling inadequate and I really struggled with my body image for longer than anyone probably ever knew. I now feel proud of what I can do and the way I feel inside has changed the way I look at myself. I am so much healthier now, eating food without feeling guilt and leading a very balanced lifestyle. Training for me now is so much more than just how I look, it’s about my energy, my strength, power and performance - and this has improved rapidly over the past couple of weeks and now it’s all about fuelling my sessions and enjoying training and living my life 🙌 There is nothing wrong with training for aesthetics but it can be a mental battle sometimes so finding an alternative path for me personally was the right decision.
