Trying to find the words to describe our friendship looking back all these years is an impossible task. When I got the news I broke down immediately, then my girlfriend asked me what are some fun memories I can recall from our times together... I rambled on for for what seemed like eternity half sobbing half laughing my ass off, telling her stories of 4am pig roasts, shotgunning beers in the walk in, sun tanning with carefully selected DOP olive oils, eating back to back to back tasting menus while being broke, the stories kept coming. The years i lived in Brooklyn were always challenging, but from the moment i met you working together at Roberta’s life got a little easier. You made me feel like family and I was at home, you never put me or anyone around you down. You lived life with more gusto and heart than anyone could ever dream of. You were smart, kind, sincere, talented, yet somehow carefree. I love you man and will always miss you.
