As I reflect on my journey in jiujitsu and the amazing wonders it has done for my mental and physical well being- I have come to realize a few things. Sometimes you have to make a move no matter how uncomfortable or fearful it may be. You can not expect things to happen unless you make it happen. Trust the process and always strive higher. And never settle. Always strive for the best, to be the best. I have finally started facing my demons and working through them. I have finally surrounded myself with champions and like minded people who believe in me and my goals. And now, I am realizing how technique is key. There is a method. It’s my honor to be a part of the Method Jiujitsu team, and I am so thankful that every day I throw myself on the mat- I learn from everyone in the room.
