The Music Industry Review’s ‘Raising Their Voices’ report this week found unacceptable levels of sexual harm, sexual harassment and systemic discrimination. Women, surprise surprise, don’t thrive to the same extent as men. Young people and people of diverse backgrounds, especially our First Nations people are particularly at risk to harm and poor employment practices. We have low reporting of misconduct and bullying due to the perceived lack of accountability for perpetrators.
