Ma Famille A special thank you goes out to fanmi mwen. June 23, 2022, GGE’s GALA, marked the one year anniversary of my father’s death. My family bought tickets, donated, flew in, drove in, got rooms, got sitters, took off of work and rolling 18 deep they cheered me on as a reminder that I can do hard things and they’ll be right there with me. Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of his burial. I’m grateful and blessed to be held and cared for by folks who bore witness and often got the short end of the stick while GGE grew. Thank you for not letting me face the day without you. #GGE20 #family
