Book Review Jeweler to the Blessed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jillian Witt First of all thank you to @The Nerd Fam and @author.jillianwitt for allowing me to do an early read of this book! This had such a unique magic system which I found intriguing. Kind of like if a Blessed touches a person they can extract emotion from them and the rings the Blessed wear show the type of emotion (like a mood ring). You have Ember the FMC who is not able to have her emotions taken from her and so has been kept hidden so that the King doesn’t realize but yet she is one of very few who also can work with the jewel that makes these rings for the Blessed other than her uncle. I enjoyed this since there wasn’t too much world building as I am a bit of a newbie to fantasy but enough to keep me interested. I felt the first part was a little slow though and I had a bit of a hard time getting through it but then it picked up. From there it was very good as you add the MMC the guard that Ember falls for.
