5 things I do when I’m feeling bloated! 🫶🏻🔥⭐️💕BC it happens to us all, right?! 1. A de-bloating, anti-inflammatory pilates flow! 💪🏻I have a few on PurelyYou that are my go-to’s! 2. Focus on cooked veggies vs. raw 🥦🧅🫑🌶🥔- don’t get me wrong, I love my salads, but sometimes all of the fiber can be a lot for our digestive system to break down. We’re taking a step out of the process by cooking the veggies to make digesting them easier! 3. Swap coffee for mint tea 🍵 - coffee can be a bit acidic which can be hard on the gut/tummy when you’re feeling bloated. I do mint tea with fresh mint leaves, lemon and hot water. Mint tea has been used in herbal medicine for 100’s of years and has been shown to relieve GI stress, improve digestion and reduce (you guessed it,) bloating!) 4. Sip on @BareBonesBroth Bone Broth! 🦴🍲If you’re really feeling digestive stress, this is a great option for many reasons: 1, it’s nutrient dense and has 10g protein per cup! and 2. the amino acids in the collagen in the bone broth is healing for the tissue in our GI tract. Consuming bone broth regularly helps to regulate your bowel movements too 😉💩 5. Show my body & mind LOVE! 💕🫶🏻This is one of the most important pieces, we have to remember that bloating is temporary, and stressing about it will do more harm than good.
