It is always an honor and blessing to do this work. And thank you to all my friends and family for their love and support through this whole thing xoxo . . . . Recently, the journey that my life has become leaves me speechless in awe, but that does not eliminate the trials and hardships faced. No mental health advocate would argue that life is about being happy. It is not - but that does not mean we cannot find joy in the hard days. The past few weeks have been filled with grief, celebration, tears, and life, which are all conflicting things to experience. But our lives continue whether or not we choose to let go of our past. We will always be healing from something. Endings become bittersweet, questions will be left unanswered but we can continue. And so we continue :) and we can continue to love, and seek love despite all that life may bring. I truly believe love lasts, and I pray we all discover that hope. For whatever it means, I’m dedicating this article to the close friends and community that has been shaken to the core in the past two weeks - that we may be reminded to honor and love the lives of those around us.
