Looking back on moments from the Rising Voices Award... We partnered with @fashioncouncilgermany to support, motivate and inspire the next generation of sustainable designers in Germany. In a project that gave 10 emerging designers the opportunity to create prototypes inspired by the Classic Mini, we met @nicoleknueppel , founder of the @butterfliesandfeathers_bnf brand. Using reusable materials sourced from Africa in a bid to support the economic development of the continent, @nicoleknueppel re-imagined the Classic Mini as a weighted fitness shoe. Her bold decision to combine sustainability, functionality and style led to her success in winning runner-up for the Rising Voices Award. Congratulations to you, @nicoleknueppel — you smashed it!
