Just wasn't in the mood today. šŸ™„ā£ (Edit: I am FINE. The post is about contextualising emotions at face value. 🄰. Watch reel/read below) Gym may help, it helps me. Doing things that rejuvenate me may help. But ultimately too much is out there in how to FIX your bad moods. As if your mood is solely an individuals problem. Like the wider context of why or how you got there... Doesn't exist. 😭🄓⁣ ⁣ I do believe that whilst internal work is very important, especially in not projecting your emotions on innocent others, there is not a lot said about the validity of being in a negative headspace. These are emotions that arm with us with the will to reflect, learn and review what led us to that moment. 🧐⁣ ⁣ It's totally normal to feel crap... and whilst it's not desirable, using things/actions to bury, rid or escape the grasps of negative moments is not often a healthy practice to approach negativity. Being able to sit with it and let it have its time to shine as much as the good emotions is a skill to help build context and understanding of why you arrived there. Thats what it's for. ā¤ļøā£ ⁣ Just take accountability for it and communicate that you are there. If you trust someone, even do some reflection time to why with someone else. Carrying your emotions or unordered thoughts through the lens of negativity, is very hard. Logically and physiologically. 😣⁣ ⁣ And understand despite your emotions inherent validity, there's a lot more freedom in being able to not carry the burden of those issues for long periods of time. Not every emotion requires closure, sometimes it just is and we all have to accept that. šŸ¤”šŸ˜…
