Last week, as our medical staff was leaving for the day, they found a box outside our door. Attached was a note that said 3 stray cats were inside, a mother still nursing her two kittens. Unfortunately, we opened the box to find only one kitten, Dove, and a hole chewed through the cardboard where the other two had ran out. We had no way of finding the other two cats. While the person who wrote this note had the best of intentions, and we're grateful for their kindness to this little family, we ask everyone not to drop off animals in this way for their own safety. We are here to help however we can, just ask 💛 Dove was understandably frightened for the first two days, but she came around to humans so quick, and now she’s the most affectionate, sweet kitten! Dove will be looking for a home that can continue to help socialize her and help her feel safe as she finds her confidence! You can find her at our Adoption Center soon 😊
