Chris, I can’t believe how lucky I am to have shared a life with you. You gave everyone everything you could possibly give. You touched so many lives because you truly cared and were selfless. I will be forever grateful to you for showing me what love is and feels like. I will be forever grateful to you for making me a part of your family. A family that I thought only existed in fairy tails and movies. You knew I would be in the best hands possible. I am so sorry you suffered for as long as you did. You did not deserve to. I am so heartbroken. Chris knew how much we all loved him. He knew how much we cared about him. He was just too sick and in too much pain. Depression is as serious of a disease as it gets and it doesn’t discriminate. One of Chris’ wishes for me was to let people in more and lower my walls. My wish for all of you that he loved is to do the same in his honor. Chris shared his battle with everyone and let people know they were not alone. You can do the same. I love and miss Chris more than I could ever express. It is unfathomable.
