We spent time at a local organic farm where we made our own tortillas. That consisted of grinding corn by hand, shaping the tortillas on a banana leaf, and grilling them on an outdoor stove. Then we had fresh coffee, which we also got to grind by hand! We also ate the freshest cheese that was made from milk that came from a cow named Carla (yes, we met Carla!) and we topped that with homemade guava jam. We had fresh coconut water and a ridiculous amount of freshly picked pineapple. Everything was absolutely the best thing I’ve ever tasted (except coconut water- I still don’t like it!)
