Great experience @londonmarathon today running 26.2 in the @rhone commuter shirt 👔. I lost count of the amount of times I heard “Look at that lad, he looks right smart he does.” Referencing the dress shirt. In fact when I went to get my medal the lady didn’t believe I had run. I had to show her my tag on the back. Then she said “now what on earth did you go running in that nice shirt for?” Also had the privilege of running side by side with @zwclark and so grateful for those of you who supported the fundraising efforts for @releaserecoveryfoundation - And very grateful for the rapid 7-week training program from @ken_rideout , @theamshakeout and @toddanderson42_ In 7 weeks they got me into some level of marathon shape and I shaved off nearly 35mins off my last effort 3 yrs ago. I’m a very blessed man but most of all because of the incredible support of my beautiful bride @daynachecketts who popped up everywhere on the course.
