1. with comments from skinny to mid-sized ppl like “ugh I look so fat today” in front of fat people. I’ve eventually stopped making comments in reference to weight around most anybody because its always “stop you look gorgeous!!” ma’am I know that bc that was not the topic at hand. I can be hot AND fat, the two terms are not mutually exclusive. 2. trends and micro-trends never cater to the plus-size market. and when they FINALLY do, pieces and fits are overpriced and modified to cover up a fat body, not accentuate like their smaller counterparts. a lot of outfits/styles alsl have one big accesory in common—skinniness!!!! 3. fat people try to hold any amount of space in a conversation to speak their TRUTHS and a comment will always be said about “well what about my body dysmorphia” “am I not allowed to have low self esteem?” and my favorite is just the straight up “well have you even tried to lose weight?” which are almost always completely irrelevent and said to shift the conversation back onto skinny bodies. bc being fat is SO bad and taboo to talk about. #fat
