MoistureGlow Plumping LIP COLOR 👄 @makeupbymario The thin, water-infused lip formula is very reminiscent of Mario’s previously launched viral lip serums, except liquified and triple the pigment. They have the same minty cooling sensation but on a much smaller scale and a complimentary shade range and component. But the sheen on the NEW formula is truly where they [literally] shine! The intense glossy finish gives you a wet looking, luscious lip. Sure to have people questioning “what is on your lips!?” Now to the wear - there has been a lot of talk about this formula feathering and settling into lip lines. I have had zero issues with it feathering or bleeding outside of the lips. The swatches (swipe right) were on my arm for over 30 minutes and as you can see, zero bleeding. However the formula does settle into lip lines. With the lighter, nude tones it really is not noticeable and honestly I don’t even know if I would have noticed it had someone else not pointed it out. It is however, a bit more noticeable on the deeper shades like Mulberry and Mocha Raisin. I have found filling in the lip completely with a lip liner or Mac Prep and Prime Lip does help to eliminate that. So lip prep is key when wearing a more bold shade. Are they effortless and easy to throw on and go, maybe not, but there is no denying how yummy they are on the lips and personally worth the extra lip prep step to make them work.
