Drove the van south to Bishop California and realized on the way it was the first road trip without Hilaree since we bought her in 2017. Six days and Seven nights in the heart of the East side left me infused with so much love and adoration for the @thenorthface athlete team. Our first annual summit since 2018 was a smash success and involved a wonderful tribute to my love, our captain, @hilareenelson We laughed, we cried, we danced in the cold under a moonlit sky and all the incredible humans on this team lifted me up. I had fun. For the first time I truly let myself enjoy some moments and although I prepared myself with lots of armor for the interactions I embraced my teammates with love.
