Couldn’t have wished it to happen any other way. Pops mountain caribou was one heck of a journey. And let me emphasize “MOUNTAIN” caribou. With expectations to be hunting bottoms, timber, and relatively light walking, it couldn’t have been further than what happened. Little did we know, we would be sheep hunting for caribou. Chasing “whitey” up and down the valley had us in sheep country and I couldn’t be any more proud of @shaycowankansas for stomping it out and sealing the deal with a 350 yard shot. Not one mile was an easy mile, and to top off the trip with dad getting it done couldn’t have been any better.
