This is a bitter sweet moment for me. In one hand I’m celebrating something I didn’t think I’d accomplish in my lifetime and on the other hand it all took place in my darkest moment. Not everyone knows this but the shoot took place on a trip in Mexico that I invited my close family and friends to help me heal a bit after my brother @davidyehezkel passed away. As tears come down my eyes as I write this It still fills me with a bit of pride that through tragedy you can find time to let some light in and help you create something that would make him proud. Every day I struggle without him here but moments like this remind that I’m living for him and I together and I know he’s smiling down on me right now. I can just hear his voice when I’d show him the magazine “wow you’re so Fashun bro. I guess fashion is really hurting if they need Ricky’s pictures for the magazine’s” 🤣 his own way of saying he’s proud. This ones for you Dave. I do it all for you now.
