I feel extremely honored to share my interview with the @todayshow I’ve cried a few times already, especially when I see my mom smile! This is for all of you who haven’t figure things out yet, for those who have been doubted, for those who feel lost, for the dreamers, for the chasers, for those who get knocked down but get up, for the ones who feel unseen, for those that don’t follow what society has set as the norm, for those who have been told more no’s than yes and they keep pushing, for those breaking barriers, for the immigrants, for the women who do it all, for the minorities, for the small business owner, for those who have invested every single penny into their business, and especially for mi comunidad peruana y Latina. This is for YOU because I am and was all of the above. But listen if I can do it, so can you! My ultimate goal and mission in life is to inspire at least one person and open doors for those who come along side or after me, and after reading all your DM, messages, comments, e-mails etc my heart feels full and happy, and I think I’m on the right track To The Show,to the amazing Producer, Reporter, Photographer, Editors and everyone involved thank you for telling my story so beautifully and giving me an opportunity and opening doors to people like me, and not just when it’s Hispanic Heritage month.
