This story starts with day drinking at a Vegas pool, so you know something weird is gonna go down. In this case, it started with a dad named Sean McArdle just trying to chill and enjoy his friend’s 40th birthday trip when people from the other end of the pool started pointing and laughing at him. "Everybody on the opposite side pointed at me laughing, and I just got a little embarrassed," the dad said to the Today Show. "I look back at my friends, and they're pointing at some other dude and laughing. I look over, and it was like looking in the mirror. I've seen guys who've had similarities to me, but man, this guy just looked just like me. It was pretty surreal." Instead of demanding to be released from the simulation, the lookalikes swam up to each other and shared a good laugh about the cosmic terror of it all, even posing for a photo which...I mean it is really wild how similar they look. Sean posted the story on Reddit where it immediately went viral because the picture IS kinda trippy. It was probably even trippier to people day-drinking who suddenly saw a pool full of off-brand Seth Rogens. The post was upvoted on Reddit nearly 100,000 times and the story went viral on multiple platforms. Of course it’s gonna make you feel like we’re living in a simulation. The two were the only ones in the entire pool to have glasses on, and down to the beard/glasses/hat combo, they look like they’re both auditioning for the role of "dad on Vegas trip.” McArdle had such a dad reaction to it, too: “I finally have something that has more views than she does from TikTok,” he laughed.
