TODAY is a crucial day for the future of our oceans. In less than 12 hours at the CITES conference, world leaders will be voting whether or not to take a vital step for conservation by regulating the vast majority of global shark fin trading - for the first time. This is the minimum step needed to secure a future for these species. Aside from being beautiful creatures, sharks are keystone predators - they have a domino-like effect on marine ecosystems worldwide, but with shark populations declining the ocean is in trouble. This is where we come in. βπΌ
Please share this video and tag the below accounts, to let these leaders know that we are all watching as they make their decision and hold them accountable for the future of our ocean.
I call on the following world leaders, especially those who may be on the fence, to do the right thing and vote in favour of a healthy ocean. βπΌππΌπ
