As I reflect on the Easter season I can’t help but think of all that the Lord has done and all He is still doing. When I think of the sacrificial love that Jesus displayed by taking my place is unreal. I’m so incredibly undeserving yet Jesus died anyways. Last night I witnessed college students worship our God who is worthy of all praise forever and always! To experience the presence of God is unreal and I don’t ever want to take that for granted. Lately God has just been putting a lot of thoughts in my mind and heart that I want to share as both a challenge and encouragement to you in your faith. 1. Stop taking the faith for granted. There are so many people that are just seeking and craving truth and we as Christians have it! It’s time now more than ever to get out of our “Christian Bubble” and do the hard and uncomfortable stuff 2. Start being the hands and feet of Jesus. I think often time we get wrapped up knowing that Christianity isn’t a works based faith where you have to do all these things to be saved. While that is true, we also can’t forget the Great Commision where in Matthew 28, Jesus calls us to GO and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. 3. Invite and Welcome people! There’s no harm in inviting people to come to church with you or inviting them to come to a Bible study with you and your friends. Don’t stop pursuing and praying after the hearts of the lost and broken. Jesus is just too good and worthy for me to keep this all to myself. I hope you find some encouragement in this!!
