In the last newsletter we talked about the importance of materials and the fact that the designer's work consists (and must necessarily consist) in combining the three fundamental concepts of the fabric in which the texture generated by the other two concepts is very important, in my project process. In these days I really love blue-black tones, the assonances of dark indigo color, which does not bleed and does not discolour, in a very modern vision of "denim" that goes beyond redundant axioms. I find that combining it with the RIDGE jacket in "raddoppiato" cotton/wool, with its texture that comes from the fusion of the two fibers and the ripstop weaving, is that sort of mood that is urban and at the same time out-of-the-door, and deliver a modern but traditional image, whose various elements of the outfit have a logical sense, combining functionality, such as pockets designed to be used wisely, color, with the vision of dark tones as the idea behind our collection, the layers. I think also, that in these pictures there is large importance on how the shapes, the fit, and the way the clothes "drapes" on the body that talks about our products. I carefully test the products we produce: I always wear prototypes, samples, or personal production pieces. CRAFT trousers worn with the SERVICE vest and the RIDGE jacket, the new TWEED tie in wool/silk is now available at the best international retailers and on our website. #textures #fabrics #cloths #ripstop #research #exclusive #layers #notadenimproduct #madeinItaly #1stpatrn
