Self-care: The practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health. On days like this, I am incredibly sore from my training sessions. Instead of staying in bed all day, I decided to move my muscles and release some lactic acid soreness. I kept it light today with stretching, stair-climbing, lightweight pulldowns, and a couple of dumbell movements. Continuing to move my body helps me to recover faster. I’ll use a massage gun and a foam roller tonight to help with the aches as well.
