Jorge brings his love for photography and the sciences together in a unique way as a radiologist and as a supervisor of diagnostic imaging at Baptist Health South Miami Hospital. And his 40 years of work has taken him far, including South Africa to speak at a global congress in his field – but his biggest fulfillment in life is giving back to the radiology community. He started the Jorge A. Casanas Hispanic Scholarship, which helps entry-level Hispanic students succeed in their radiography or radiologic programs.
