This past weekend I flew solo 💃 to DC to run the Army Ten Miler. It was an AMAZING race and book ended with some truly memorable days. I got to visit my cousin in her GORGEOUS new place, My momma and aunt (and other cousin) came to see Hamilton with us and the girls came to cheer me on at the race the next morning, ran into one of my dearest friends at the race, and then I got to have fantastic meals and wine and conversation with my cousin the rest of the weekend. Couple it with peaceful coffee at a cute local shop and starting and finishing a book in 1 day ..really just made it that much more relaxing( even if I was walking funny from post race soreness 😅). Thanks to my darling hubby who held down the fort so I could do all the things, you’re the real MVP 😘. If you ever get the chance, 10/10 recommend the Army 10 Miler in person race. It was a beautiful route.
