Christmas Eve has always been a very special day to me. My actual favorite of the entire holiday. Shopping is done gifts are all wrapped and the chaos has not begun. 🎄 I like to spend my Christmas Eve with the most important people in my life and then at church bringing in the birth of Christ. 🙏🏻 Hunter and I started the day with a visit from our dear friend & Godfather Lawrence, honoring our Scottish roots in his pink kilt! He had just come off the air at KTLA.💕 We then headed over to see Grandma at her assisted living. Mom has been completely and totally bedridden for 4 years, Hunter and I asked her today if she ever feels down or depressed being in 1 single room in the same bed for such a long period of time... she quickly and firmly answered “NEVER!!!” We were a little surprised at her answer and I followed up by asking why? She said, “because I have GOD!”. 🙏🏻 We promptly left her and headed straight to Bel Air Church for Christmas Eve candle light service. Church is a place I feel at home & at peace, it’s my place of refuge from the storm like my stump. I feel God there and you know what? Mom is right when you feel GOD you can’t be sad. ⛪️ Merry CHRISTmas Eve to ALL of you. You are loved.
